and classic car show!
We saw a a Mickey Mouse train/bus/ride go by -- and so we were looking for where we would get on that ride. (As a side note, we see lots of un-official Disney merchandise here. I have bought Peggy Disney princess notebooks and Mickey Mouse hair rubberbands, etc. at very cheap prices, i.e., not officially licensed merchandise!) We had passed this Mickey train/bus/ride when we were in our taxi on the way to the MoldExpo -- and were pleased when we thought it was then at the Wine Festival for Peggy to take a ride.
Well, we never did find the Mickey ride -- but -- we did happen upon this classic car expo. It cost 35 lei to enter. Peggy was interested in the cars, and I was most delighted to get inside where it was warm! They even had a cafe -- so I enjoyed a hot coffee and Peggy had a chocolate bar -- so that was most welcome as well. Definitely 35 lei well spent
Pictured here -- some sort of limo of a leader of the Ukraine during the Soviet Union? (Perhaps one of my friends who can read Russian can tell us exactly what we are looking at)
Also pictured -- a 1936 Buick with Jersey tags!
In this last photo, you can see Peggy and me in the reflection of the shiny black paint --
