Peggy earned her first Girl Scout badge here in Moldova! (Actually -- 2 -- one for this camping trip and one for last week's investiture ceremony.) Here are photos of the girls - setting up the tents -- and Peggy making her first official Girl Scout camping trip s'mores!
After yesterday's school field trip I was able to join Peggy for her Girl Scouts meeting. The girls all decorated t-shirts for next week's 5K Fun Run.
One of the moms explained to me that she wanted her daughter to have an activity/club/hobby that she could take with her from country to country as they move around. Makes a lot of sense.
While we don't have plans to move from country to country (or from state to state), it will be fun for Peggy to take this activity with her back to Florida.
