Cruise on Bosphorus, Istanbul
On our first morning in Istanbul, we went with a tour group to take a boat trip on the Bosphorus. It was a beautiful morning. Sunshine. Blue skies. It was the perfect weather to be out on the water.
Here is a picture as we went under the world's first inter-continental suspension bridge. And a view of the Rumeli Fortress. In this photo of Peggy and me, Asia is behind us. And in the photo that has the Turkish flag, Europe is on the left, and Asia in is on the right. Of course we also visited the snack bar. I enjoyed Turkish tea (or apple tea) at every opportunity
