Philharmonic Concert Hall
Before heading over to the IWCM Holiday Party, I took Peggy to a free concert (hosted by US Embassy) at the Philharmonic Concert Hall
This was still on our list of things we wanted to do in Chisinau, so we jumped at the opportunity
Peggy thought the gentleman sitting behind her (over her right shoulder) was one of the composers that was pictured on the walls. When I looked up at the portrait she was pointing at, it was hard not to chuckle
I must say that there was no shortage of cultural events in Chisinau. Opera. Ballet. Organ Hall. Philharmonic Hall.
Peggy recently said she wanted to learn how to play the violin, and I thought of how many times recently she was able to lean over the orchestra pit, or to see the orchestra on stage, and truly enjoy the music. What a rich experience we had in Chisinau.
