St. Petersburg, Russia: Peterhof

We took the hydrofoil out to Peterhof, favorite residence of Peter the Great.  It was about a 30 minute ride each way. Sadly, we had only a limited time to explore the gardens, the fountains, and the palaces on the complex. We did manage to see the Great Palace and the Grand Cascade, which were truly spectacular.
