I stopped by the Casa de bilete to purchase tickets for Aida and La Traviata. We were so excited to check out the opera at the Teatrul national de Opera si Balet! I thought the "cheap seats" in the balcony were going to be 50 lei. Turned out they were 100 lei, but that still means they are about $8 -- or -- about the same cost as a movie ticket in the US. Here is Peggy practicing her operatic voice.
Of course - there was *another* free concert that we could enjoy on the way to and from the Opera. (This is at least the 4th free concert since we've been here!)
Tonight we head back for La Traviata!
