The mail seems to take 7-9 days to get from the US to Moldova and from Moldova to the US
We were SO GRATEFUL to receive care packages from friends back home!! Brownie mix! Pancake mix! *real* maple syrup! And Peggy's favorite stuffed toy from home!
As I said, the boxes take a little over a week to get here. The first 2 (from upstate NY and from WDC) we received were opened and inspected and re-sealed(nothing was missing), but Ramsay's was not. But Ramsay's package (from FL) took more than a month to get here! I think this has to do with Florida, because we have the same issues getting envelopes that my parents send from PA. Not sure why our mail at home is so slow?
Nothing like having a little piece of home in a foreign land! It could be a regional issue as you mentioned (distribution ctrs.), or if the package is subject to their customs process they are not to exceed possession of the good for > 20days.
