playgrounds! Istanbul
Each day we were in Istanbul we visited another park/playground. There were many, especially along the waterfront. It was important to Peggy that we balance our visits to historical sites with time on the swings. And I appreciated the break from tourist attractions and the opportunity to have interactions with locals.
Most of the time we were surrounded by Americans. Quite a contrast from our daily life in Chisinau. I don't think we have bumped into anyone speaking English walking down on Stefan cel Mare or sitting next to us at a restaurant. Everyone we encountered in Istanbul spoke to us English.

Where is this playground located? I'm traveling to Istanbul next week with small children and looking for suggestions!
