Planning the trip to Transnistria

Planning our trip to Transnistria. At Roberts Coffee, of course.

Dozens of stops on the Itinerary, which was carefully planned down to every detail.

I was amazed when on the day everything worked like clockwork, and we were able to see so many monuments and sites in one day.

I was very, very lucky to have such wonderful guides.

Ours was an international delegation, with Moldovan, U.S., and Transnistrian passports in our party. (Since Transnistria is not a recognized country, it is not possible to travel outside of Moldova with such a passport. There is apparently a Russian consulate there, and it is easy for citizens to obtain and then to travel using Russian passports.)

Also pictured is the immigration form needed to cross the border into Transnistria. We had our paperwork completed and did not encounter any issues crossing the border into or out of Transnistria.
