Iasi, Romania: Little Texas

Funny enough, when we visited the painted monasteries of Bucovina with Peggy's school in 2010, our home base was in Iasi.  And we stayed at the Little Texas hotel.  Here we were, two years later, on a return trip to Iasi. And we stayed at the Little Texas.

It sits on a hill overlooking Iasi, in what feels like a secluded spot (see the below pics, taken from our balcony).  The decor includes artwork of Texas, cowboys, and Indians (Native Americans).  And breakfast includes American-style pancakes with real maple syrup.  (Which gets the hotel two thumbs up from Peggy!)

I took a picture of Peggy by that Indian statue two years ago. I want to find it and see how much taller she is now...actually, we could all just scroll down through this blog to find it!
