I interviewed a number of attorneys and judges and government officials for my project about the implementation of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights in Moldova.
I especially enjoyed meeting with the former President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, the Honorable Raisa Botezatu. Now retired, she served as a judge for more than 30 years. What a wealth of experience! Among many other important projects throughout her career, she worked closely with the Council of Europe to prepare a report about the compatibility of Moldova's laws with the European Convention on Human Rights prior to its ratification in Moldova.
