St. Petersburg, Russia: Divo Ostrov

On Saturday night, we decided to head to Divo Ostrov, an amusement park.  It was a Disney-style park.  In fact, there were even Disney characters there.  If you click on this link, you'll see the park name is written in the "Disney" script.

Peggy had a lot of fun on the rides.  She was squeeling so loudly on this sombrero that the ride operator actually stopped the ride to check to see if she was OK.

It had been a cool, drizzly day.  We had gone back to the hotel for a short nap and then went out to the park in the evening. It was clear that there was a lot of rain at the park earlier in the day, but when we arrived, the sun had come out and there were no crowds or lines. We were glad we ventured back out, and took a bus and the subway to get there. And, this was a nice opportunity for Peggy to have more kid-friendly attractions to enjoy.
