private lesson

In yesterday's Judicial Process lecture we were to discuss federal judicial selection and prepare for the Senate Judiciary Committee Confirmation Hearing simulation, scheduled for next week.

Instead, my student assistant enjoyed a private lesson.

She apologized for being late -- her bus had to go out of the way due to all of the street closures.

Yesterday was a big holiday here -- City Day in Chisinau -- and the rest of the class did not attend

There were some faculty, staff and students at ULIM -- but -- it was like a ghost town.

Usually, in between classes, the narrow corridors, stairwell, and doorways are so jam-packed with people you can hardly get through.

I attached a photo I took a couple of weeks ago - it was just impossible to get through that door. Eventually I was able to help open that second door so that more students could pass through

Yesterday, it was easy to cross the threshold. The corridors were empty.
