sambata

Peggy needed her bangs trimmed. We tried the salon right near her "bus stop." The stylist did a wonderful job. We were quite impressed. This was the most attention Peggy has received for a bang trim. For 20 lei! (a manicure there is 60 lei, or about $5. I may need to treat myself one of these days)

We then headed to the "Baby Hall" Peggy decorated some pottery. And we loved the entertainment. There were several dance groups who performed. And a tiger. And a woman who came out to lead the kids in dances and games. The dances included the macarena and the chicken dance! Peggy has started to get frustrated that people don't speak English. But music and dance are the universal language. Especially when the dance is the chicken dance! ;-) She had fun with the other kids, even though there is a language barrier. (for now -- Peggy is studying Romanian at school)
