We've been able to talk to Ramsay a few times a day, thanks to skype! In fact, I am pretty sure that we speak more now than when we were all in Florida.
We can videocall each other for free over the internet using skype -- plus I signed up for the plan to make unlimited calls to US landlines and cell phones for a nominal fee. And I created a US phone number that friends back home can use to call me (and even leave voicemail). Technology is definitely our friend!
